‘Here All Along’: Finding Spirituality and Connection in Judaism

When

Tuesday, November 17 · 7:30 pm

Where

87th Street

Sarah Hurwitz, former speechwriter for President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama, took an introduction to Judaism class in her thirties that began a years-long exploration and ultimately transformed her relationship to Judaism. In dialogue with Rabbi Koffman, Hurwitz will share her insights on the importance of Judaism in her life and how we can embark on personal journeys to seek, question, and make this tradition our own. Hurwitz’s talk kicks off a programming series designed for parents to deepen their connections to Jewish life and learning through relationships with PAS rabbis and one another.
