Designed for students who can already read Hebrew, this class focuses on building practical communication skills for everyday situations. Topics include common vocabulary, useful phrases, and essential grammar for greetings, introductions, asking questions, and expressing basic needs. Through interactive exercises, students will gain confidence in speaking and understanding, improve pronunciation, and deepen their familiarity with Israeli culture. This class is now closed for registration. Michal Nachmany is an educator and self-taught artist. She has taught Hebrew in New York City for three decades and has exhibited her work across the Tri-State area, Taiwan, and Poland. She sees her art as an extension of her work in education, using it to bridge past and present. She has experience teaching modern and liturgical Hebrew, Hebrew conversation, and translation, and has worked with converts to Judaism, Bnei Mitzvah groups, and more.
