The Traditional Egalitarian Minyan (TEM) is a warm, spirited service, committed to participatory worship. It meets in the Gewirz Beit Am every Shabbat morning and on some holidays at 9:30 a.m. Led by volunteers with the occasional assistance of Adas clergy, the TEM service offers a full P’sukei D’Zimrah (introductory Psalms), Shacharit , Torah service (starting around 10:20 a.m.) and Musaf . We read the entire weekly Torah portion, and a D’var Torah is shared every week by a member of the TEM community. Our service ends around the same time as Adas’s Smith Sanctuary service, and we will join the the congregational Kiddush once it resumes following the pandemic.
